Dear Lord,

I'm a hip hop junkie
and all it sells
please don't let their words
send me to hell
because
their lives are not my reality
they are
strictly entertainment to me
but my pastor says
their music is
blasphemy

But I can't lie
I like how the beat
makes me move my
back side
and I
envy the sexiness of her thighs
and I
like how they dress up and get fly
and i wouldn't mind
one day
ridin' one those rides

but

Dear Lord
my kids like the same songs
and they sometimes sing along
but I don't want to go to hell
for the stories hip hop tell
or the sex it sells
but
I'm a hip hop junkie
and all it sells
